The Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) invites students from all over the emirate to participate in the “Frontliners Tribute Initiative.” This program is designed to celebrate the dedication of frontline heroes who protect and serve the community.
As a segment of the National Art Expressions Program, this initiative echoes the UAE's National Resilience campaign. It invites students from various grades and backgrounds to convey their appreciation through a variety of creative outlets, including visual arts, written pieces, music, and innovative projects.
ADEK emphasizes that this initiative transcends ordinary school activities. It provides a platform for students to express their gratitude towards frontline professionals such as healthcare workers, educators, and emergency responders who ensure societal safety and well-being.
Students can participate in diverse manners, crafting poems, artworks, melodies, or any unique creative expressions. The feature of this initiative is its non-competitive nature, ensuring that every contribution is equally recognized.
In conjunction with the initiative, ADEK plans to unveil a Digital Gallery in June 2026 to display selected submissions from students. This online space will serve as a permanent collection of creative expressions that symbolize gratitude and unity throughout the UAE, with some exceptional pieces potentially showcased in public venues.
Submissions for the initiative will be accepted starting April 27, 2026, with a closing date of May 11, 2026. Detailed guidelines and participation instructions will be sent to schools through official communications.
ADEK encourages families and educational institutions to support students in this initiative, fostering a collective national expression of appreciation for frontline heroes through artistic endeavors.
