Post by : Badri Ariffin

The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority has actively engaged in the FDIC International event in the United States, aiming to boost collaboration with premier global firefighting and civil defence entities.

As one of the premier global gatherings focused on firefighting, rescue, and emergency services, FDIC International gathers experts and civil defence officials to foster better coordination and knowledge sharing in crucial safety areas.

Throughout the event, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority successfully completed 74 advanced field training courses and participated in 200 workshops and training sessions. This involvement underscores its dedication to nurturing national talent, enhancing operational preparedness, and integrating cutting-edge international practices in firefighting, rescue, and emergency management.

Additionally, the authority took part in a focused seminar consisting of four sessions aimed at boosting emergency response proficiency and refining fire management strategies in mid- and high-rise buildings through innovative prevention and firefighting techniques.

Moreover, a tailored training program was conducted, concentrating on enriching leadership capabilities in emergency management. This initiative facilitated the exchange of best practices in rescue operations, firefighting, emergency medical services, and civil protection.

The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority reiterated its enduring commitment to enhancing its operational frameworks, broadening strategic collaborations, and fortifying institutional readiness to safeguard lives and property throughout the emirate.
