Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited the Al Ain Police Directorate to assess the integration of sophisticated security, emergency response, and civil defense initiatives designed to bolster public safety and readiness throughout the Al Ain Region.
During this visit, Sheikh Hazza received insights into various developmental schemes and strategic undertakings initiated by the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters, particularly in crime deterrence, drug enforcement, and the application of AI technology in the Safe City System.
Officials detailed how AI innovations are enabling field operations, facilitating data analysis, and forecasting criminal activities. This system also enhances policing effectiveness, diminishes accident-related deaths, and fortifies collaboration with strategic stakeholders.
Sheikh Hazza evaluated the Security Incident Management System and scrutinized coordination protocols among pertinent authorities concerning security emergencies. This system is aimed at increasing the speed of decision-making and improving operational responsiveness while upholding premium levels of preparedness and professionalism.
He was also briefed by the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Centre on readiness plans and cooperation with key partners, focusing especially on responding to adverse weather conditions in the Al Ain Region.
The session highlighted proactive strategies aimed at enhancing emergency response times, boosting inter-agency coordination, and ensuring life and property protection while maintaining seamless public services.
Additionally, Sheikh Hazza examined operations at civil defense centers overseen by the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, assessing their emergency readiness and initiatives geared towards improving safety, security, and rapid response abilities.
Officials showcased advanced technologies and intelligent systems leveraged by rescue, firefighting, and ambulance teams to augment operational efficiency in emergencies.
Sheikh Hazza emphasized the crucial role of integrating innovative technologies and AI solutions into policing and emergency preparedness strategies. He remarked that such advancements are vital in safeguarding lives and property, improving preventative measures, and ensuring high-quality security services are aligned with international standards.
Appreciating the professionalism and capabilities of staff from the Al Ain Police Directorate, Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, and the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Centre, Sheikh Hazza underscored the necessity of continually enhancing safety and preparedness frameworks while improving proactive response skills for any emergencies.
Sheikh Hazza was joined during his visit by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Muhairi, and various senior officials and dignitaries.
