A massive fire broke out in a residential tower in Ghaziabad, causing panic among residents as flames and thick smoke spread rapidly through parts of the building. The sudden incident forced people to rush out of their homes in fear as the situation quickly escalated.
Eyewitnesses reported that dense black smoke could be seen rising from multiple floors, while flames were visible from a distance. Residents described moments of chaos as families tried to evacuate safely while alerting emergency services.
Firefighters were immediately deployed to the scene, and multiple fire tenders were rushed to control the blaze. Rescue teams began evacuation operations, focusing on safely bringing down residents trapped on higher floors.
Authorities worked swiftly to manage the situation and prevent further spread of the fire. Fire personnel used ladders, hoses, and specialized equipment to tackle the flames and reach affected areas of the building.
Emergency responders also ensured that elderly residents, children, and those needing assistance were evacuated first. Medical teams were kept on standby to provide immediate help if required.
While the fire caused significant damage to parts of the building, officials have not yet confirmed the exact cause of the incident. Initial reports suggest that investigations are underway to determine whether it was due to an electrical fault or another factor.
Visuals from the scene showed intense flames and heavy smoke engulfing sections of the tower, highlighting the severity of the incident. The quick response from fire services played a crucial role in preventing a larger disaster.
Local authorities have urged residents to remain cautious and follow safety guidelines, especially in high-rise buildings. They also emphasized the importance of fire safety systems and regular maintenance checks.
The situation is now under control, but officials continue to monitor the site to ensure there is no risk of re-ignition. Further updates are expected as the investigation progresses.
