Vodafone Group has agreed to acquire cloud services specialist Skaylink from private equity owner Waterland in a transaction valued at €175 million ($203 million). The move is part of Vodafone's strategy to broaden its enterprise technology offerings across the continent.
Based in Germany, Skaylink provides cloud transformation, managed services and digital infrastructure solutions to clients in multiple European markets. By bringing Skaylink into its Business Division, Vodafone aims to deliver more integrated cloud and connectivity solutions to corporate customers.
Vodafone says the takeover will make it easier for business and public sector customers to adopt cloud services at scale, offering them more flexible tools for handling data and applications. The acquisition will also deepen Vodafone's presence in Germany, a priority market for the group.
The agreement is binding and, subject to regulatory clearance and customary closing conditions, is expected to complete by the end of March 2026. Once integrated, Skaylink will become part of Vodafone's growing set of enterprise technology assets as the company shifts further into digital services beyond traditional telecoms.
