SSC GD Candidates Protest, After Exam Cancelled in 46°C Heat

Post by : Shakul

Massive protests erupted across several areas after candidates appearing for the SSC GD recruitment examination alleged that technical server failures disrupted and cancelled their exams under extremely harsh weather conditions. Videos circulating on social media showed angry students gathering outside examination centres, raising slogans, and demanding immediate action from authorities.

According to multiple candidates, the examination could not be conducted because of server-related technical issues that reportedly affected computer systems at several centres. Students claimed they waited for hours outside examination venues in temperatures touching nearly 46 degrees Celsius before being informed that the test would not proceed as scheduled.

Many candidates expressed frustration over the financial and physical hardships they faced while attempting to appear for the examination. Several students stated that they had travelled more than 100 kilometres from remote towns and villages, spending significant amounts on transportation, accommodation, and food in hopes of participating in the government recruitment exam.

Witnesses at some centres reported scenes of confusion and anger as candidates demanded explanations from officials regarding the technical breakdown. Viral videos online showed students protesting under intense heat while accusing authorities of poor management and inadequate preparation for handling large-scale examinations.

Candidates have now demanded that the examination be rescheduled at the earliest possible date. Protesters are also calling for accountability from officials responsible for managing the examination infrastructure and computer systems. Many students argued that such technical failures unfairly affect the future of aspirants preparing for competitive government jobs.
