Massive protests erupted after several SSC GD examination candidates alleged that technical server failures forced the cancellation of their recruitment exam amid extreme heat conditions reaching nearly 46°C. Videos circulating widely on social media showed frustrated students protesting outside examination centres after reportedly waiting for hours without being allowed to complete the test.
According to candidates, many had travelled from distant districts and villages, spending large amounts of money on transportation, accommodation, and food to appear for the government recruitment examination. Several students claimed they travelled more than 100 kilometers only to be informed at the last moment that the examination could not be conducted due to server and technical issues.
Students also alleged that poor arrangements at exam centres worsened the situation, especially under severe weather conditions. Many candidates were reportedly seen waiting outside centres in intense heat for long periods without proper shelter, drinking water, or official communication from authorities.
The protest intensified as students demanded immediate rescheduling of the cancelled examination along with accountability from authorities responsible for the technical failure. Protesters also called for better management systems and improved digital infrastructure for future recruitment exams.
Social media platforms were flooded with videos showing angry candidates raising slogans and expressing disappointment over what they described as mismanagement and negligence. Many students argued that competitive government examinations involve years of preparation and significant financial burden for aspirants and their families.
The incident has once again raised concerns about the reliability of online examination systems and the preparedness of authorities to conduct large-scale recruitment tests smoothly. Students and education activists are now urging officials to ensure transparency and prevent similar incidents from happening again.
Authorities have not yet released a detailed official statement regarding the alleged server failure or the possible date for rescheduling the examination. Candidates continue demanding clarity and quick action to avoid further uncertainty.
