The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has voiced strong opposition to the Israeli Knesset’s initial approval of two contentious bills, which seek to establish Israeli dominion over the occupied West Bank and legitimize control over specific settlements. The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced this move as a significant escalation and a clear breach of international law, underscoring that such actions jeopardize the possibility of achieving a fair and enduring peace in the region. The UAE’s resolute position reflects its dedication to advocating for Palestinian rights while upholding international law against unilateral Israeli actions.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs asserted that the proposed Israeli legislation constitutes an unacceptable effort to change the legal and historical status of Palestinian territories. The UAE cautioned that the Knesset's actions could derail years of diplomatic progress and impede efforts to foster lasting security and stability in the region.
