Tom Cruise made a special appearance at the premiere of Glen Powell’s upcoming film, The Running Man, and shared his thoughts with fans on Instagram.
The star of the Mission: Impossible series posted a joyful image alongside Powell, each holding unique popcorn boxes emblazoned with the film’s name. He also shared a group shot that included director Edgar Wright and cast members Coleman Domingo, Lee Pace, and Emilia Jones.
“What a fantastic night at the movies with friends! Hats off to you all, it was hilarious, thrilling, and I ate way too much popcorn,” Cruise expressed.
Glen Powell reciprocated the praise by sharing similar images and giving Cruise a light-hearted mention: “The Running Man with THE Running Man.”
This isn’t the first instance of Cruise showcasing his support for Powell. During the London premiere of Twisters, Cruise attended, which led Powell to comment on a posted photo: “When your wingman follows you into the storm.”
The two actors previously collaborated in 2022’s Top Gun: Maverick, which achieved a whopping $1.5 billion in global box office sales.

Known as Runners, contestants must endure 30 days while being pursued by lethal hunters, as their every move is televised to an eager audience, with each survival day increasing the cash prize at stake.
The Running Man is set to premiere in theatres on November 14.
