Saviynt, a global leader in AI-driven identity security, has unveiled its new regional headquarters in Dubai alongside a pivotal partnership with StarLink, a prominent cybersecurity distributor across the Middle East and Africa. This strategic move underscores the company's dedication to fostering the region's flourishing cloud and AI landscape, where identity governance has emerged as a pressing concern.
Investment in cloud technologies across the Middle East is surging, propelled by national digital transformation efforts, innovation in heavily regulated sectors, and increasing reliance on AI-enhanced business functionalities. This growth has given rise to millions of new digital identities—including employees, contractors, applications, workloads, and connected devices. Amid this evolution, maintaining secure, appropriate, and continuous access has become an urgent issue for security leaders.
“Organizations throughout the Middle East are adding thousands of identities every month, yet many still depend on manual access reviews and disparate tools,” noted Todd Rotger, Chief Revenue Officer at Saviynt. “This gap is precisely where attackers excel. Our investment in the region is centered on helping clients bridge it and retain control before risks escalate into breaches.”
As part of its expansion strategy, Saviynt will now host its integrated Identity Cloud platform locally in the UAE. This initiative ensures alignment with data residency and sovereignty standards, particularly for sectors under stringent regulations such as banking, energy, government, and telecommunications. The new Dubai hub is also set to function as a center of excellence, prioritizing customer success, solution deployment, and partner support to accelerate organizations’ time-to-value.
“With identity becoming the foundation of digital trust, organizations require intelligent, unified control over every identity on their networks,” stated Mahmoud Nimer, President of StarLink. “Saviynt presents this convergence without hindering transformation. We are excited to bring their innovation to a broader audience in the region.”
This venture fortifies Saviynt’s global footprint, adding to its ongoing expansion across EMEA and APJ. Recent developments include the launch of new offices and leadership teams in locations like Singapore, London, Amsterdam, Germany, Iberia, and Poland, alongside ongoing enhancements at its innovation center in India. Notably, Saviynt has also received accolades as a 2024 Gartner® Peer Insights™ Customers’ Choice for Identity Governance and Administration for the fourth consecutive year, highlighting its leadership and commitment to customer-centric innovation.
