The Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS) has launched the “Rabdaan Electronic Judging System”, a pioneering digital framework aimed at transforming Arabian horse championships within the UAE. This advanced system exemplifies the UAE's commitment to leveraging technology to elevate equestrian sports and boost the international stature of its Arabian horse competitions.
Rabdaan streamlines championship management, promoting efficiency at every level. It enables complete electronic registration of horses, thereby discarding tedious manual processes. Horse owners can effortlessly confirm their animals’ eligibility, receive instant payment receipts, and monitor their horses' competition participation. Additionally, the platform allows participants to easily download championship catalogues and access critical official reports.
For judges, Rabdaan streamlines the scoring process and result management. Utilizing an iPad during events, judges can quickly record scores, with immediate results available on screens and the official website. The system guarantees swift, precise, and transparent scoring, addressing issues such as suspected horse lameness through a confidential electronic voting mechanism. This promotes impartiality, fairness, and dependability in the judgment process, aligning with top international standards.
Moreover, the system equips the Disciplinary Committee (DC) with innovative tools to assess and modify horse information, attach necessary documentation, and make notes with images. Automatically generated certified reports enhance the accuracy and dependability of championship records. This forward-thinking approach minimizes the risk of errors linked to manual systems.
Officials at EAHS emphasized that Rabdaan not only reinforces the UAE’s dedication to preserving its rich heritage in Arabian horse breeding but also embraces modernity. By digitizing championship procedures, the UAE illustrates its commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and transparency. This initiative also underscores the country's ambitious goal of amplifying its global presence in equestrian sports.
The rollout of Rabdaan signifies a pivotal moment in merging traditional equestrian culture with sophisticated digital tools. This innovative system is expected to encourage international equestrian organizations to adopt similar technologies, fostering enhanced fairness and precision in judging and competition management.
Participants including horse owners, breeders, and judges have welcomed Rabdaan, acknowledging its user-friendly nature, rapid operation, and unwavering transparency. With real-time results, instant verification, and comprehensive reporting, the system elevates the standards of Arabian horse championships.
Beyond enhancing event management, Rabdaan supports the UAE’s strategic vision of gaining global recognition for its Arabian horses. The system guarantees that championships are conducted with utmost professionalism, mitigating the risk of bias or human errors, thereby showcasing the nation’s commitment to excelling in equestrian sports.
With this groundbreaking initiative, the UAE establishes new benchmarks in the global equestrian sphere. Rabdaan strengthens the synergy between tradition and technology, ensuring that Arabian horse championships remain equitable, transparent, and distinguished for participants worldwide.
