Actor Priyanka Chopra and singer Nick Jonas celebrated Karwa Chauth together in New York, despite Jonas being in the middle of a busy tour. Priyanka shared pictures from the celebration on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse into their intimate family moments during the festival. She also revealed that her mother-in-law sent her sargi a day before the fast, while her mother, Madhu Chopra, brought special food prepared by celebrity chef Vikas Khanna from his restaurant, Bungalow, to help her break the fast.
In the photos, Priyanka and Nick were seen posing together as she pointed at the moon from their room. Priyanka also showcased her red bangles while gently touching Nick’s face in another image. Their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, appeared in some pictures, scribbling on paper and even tracing Nick’s hand. Priyanka paid a touching tribute to her late father, Ashok Chopra, alongside these family moments.
Priyanka wrote a heartfelt note with the post, saying that despite Nick’s demanding schedule, he always makes sure to be with her on Karwa Chauth. She expressed gratitude for the love and care shown by both her mother and mother-in-law, and affectionately called Nick her “true chaand (moon).” Nick responded with a simple red heart emoji.
Fans flooded the post with comments praising the couple. Many appreciated how Nick respects Indian traditions, while others called them one of the strongest celebrity couples. Comments highlighted their love, family values, and the way they prioritize each other even amid hectic schedules.
Priyanka and Nick got married in 2018 in Rajasthan, celebrating both a traditional Christian wedding and a Hindu ceremony. They became parents to daughter Malti through surrogacy in January 2022.
Currently, Nick is on tour with his brothers in the Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown world tour, which features 52 concerts and is set to conclude on November 14 in Connecticut. Priyanka will next appear in the second season of the web series Citadel and will play a 19th-century Caribbean pirate in the upcoming film The Bluff. She is also starring alongside Mahesh Babu in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming project, tentatively titled GlobeTrotter.
