On Thursday, during the second day of the match against Ireland at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur, Bangladesh's seasoned cricketer Mushfiqur Rahim etched his name in history by scoring a century in his 100th Test match. The 38-year-old batsman resumed his innings on 99, achieving this remarkable feat.

This milestone makes Rahim the 11th player ever to score a century in a 100th Test match, joining legends like Colin Cowdrey and Ricky Ponting in this exclusive club.

Debuting in 2005, Rahim has been a vital part of the Bangladesh cricket team for almost 20 years.
