Last-Minute Gown Makes Waves for Manika Vishwakarma at Miss Universe

Last-Minute Gown Makes Waves for Manika Vishwakarma at Miss Universe

Post by : Meena Ariff

Representing India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand, Manika Vishwakarma from Rajasthan is turning heads with her confident demeanor. Crowned as Miss Universe India 2025 in August, she continues to leave a mark on the international stage through her impressive poise and style.

During the Miss Universe Gala Dinner at Kora Beach Resort in Phuket, Manika made a splash with a stunning, see-through gown that sparkled with crystals. Interestingly, this eye-catching outfit was a last-minute decision, as disclosed in a video by pageant expert Adam Genato on Instagram.

Genato shared, “Did you know that India’s gown was a last-minute choice? The transparent dress she wore was a bold and refreshing move.” Supporters quickly flooded the comments with admiration for Manika’s grace and quick thinking.

One fan noted, “She’s so perceptive, making a quick change. After all, she represents India!” Another added, “An unexpected change, yet such an elegant one.”

Others recalled that Manika had initially donned a gold-and-black gown before opting for the crystal-encrusted number. One admirer exclaimed, “She handled the pressure gracefully. Her adaptability and flawless performance are commendable.”

The gown, embellished with a spectrum of crystals and sequins in vibrant pink, blue, green, orange, and purple shades, showcased a plunging neckline and nude panels, flowing elegantly to the floor. She completed the ensemble with subtle jewelry, a sleek top knot, smoky eye makeup, and caramel-toned lips, exuding confidence and glamour.

Meanwhile, the 2025 Miss Universe pageant is making headlines for a recent controversy involving Miss Mexico, Fátima Bosch, and Miss Grand International president Nawat Itsaragrisil during an event in Thailand.

In spite of the surrounding drama, Manika Vishwakarma remains a shining star for India, embodying grace under pressure and a distinctive sense of style.
