On a vibrant Monday evening, the Al Majaz Amphitheatre buzzed with excitement as Tamer Ashour and Wael Jassar graced the stage, delivering a concert that mesmerized fans from all over the UAE. The atmosphere was electric from the onset of the “Let’s Majaz” season event, showcasing the venue’s rising reputation as a pivotal location for regional cultural and musical gatherings.
Both musicians expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Sharjah audience, highlighting the emirate’s expanding role in hosting significant entertainment events and fostering a space that attracts top-tier performers.
Tamer Ashour kicked off the evening with an impressive selection of his hit songs. Starting with “Hekayat,” he effortlessly transitioned to iconic tracks that have become synonymous with his career. The crowd erupted with joy as he delivered beloved songs like “Asr Ba’eed,” “Al Rak Ala Al Neyya,” and “Hagi Al Nafsi.” Ashour maintained the energy with cherished hits such as “Yah,” “Teslam,” and “Beit Kabir,” culminating in a nostalgic medley including “Metwahshana” and “Kan Mawdoa.” He concluded his performance with stirring renditions of “Ohololo Samah,” “Eftera’na,” “Kont Fein,” and “B’aoul Aadi,” revisiting the fan-favorite “Haygeli Mawgou.”
Following Ashour, Wael Jassar took to the stage, infusing the night with his signature tarab style. He began with a captivating medley of classic hits that resonated deeply with his long-time fans. His smooth transition from “Ghareeb El Nas” to “Kol Waad” drew loud cheers and lively sing-alongs. Jassar continued with popular demands including “Betwashesheeni,” “Mawgoua,” and “Mahma Ye’oolo,” all the while enriching the atmosphere with his performance of “100 Ehsas.” His homage to the classic Arabic music era with “Alf Leila wa Leila” rounded off the night beautifully. Jassar left the audience cheering after enchanting performances of “Hasaret Kol El Nas,” “Nekhabi Leh,” and “Halleni.”
With its array of concerts and cultural events, Al Majaz Amphitheatre is firmly establishing Sharjah as a key destination for unforgettable live entertainment this season.
