The Chinese smartphone manufacturer iQOO is gearing up to make a significant entrance into the Indian premium smartphone market with its flagship model, the iQOO 15, set to launch on November 26. Marketed as a powerhouse device, the iQOO 15 aims to compete with leading Android smartphones by offering state-of-the-art specifications and exceptional cooling technology.
Eye-catching Design with a Unique Flair
Early leaks and images suggest that the iQOO 15 features a bold new design. Its back panel includes a square-shaped camera layout with an RGB light ring, while the aluminum chassis adds a touch of elegance. The front showcases a flat display with crisp edges, giving the device a modern and vibrant appearance.
High-End Performance Specifications
Underneath, the iQOO 15 boasts Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, paired with LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. Featuring a Q3 Supercomputing chip, it promises stable performance during gaming sessions. Running on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, the device is expected to include India-specific optimizations.
The display is anticipated to be a 6.85-inch curved Samsung M14 8T LTPO AMOLED screen, delivering 2K+ resolution, up to 144Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness levels of 6,000 nits. A focus on thermal management includes an 8,000 sq mm vapor cooling chamber, keeping the device cool during intense gaming or multitasking.
Impressive Camera and Battery Life
For photography enthusiasts, the device will feature a triple 50MP rear camera system—including main, ultra-wide, and periscope telephoto—augmented with OIS, and a 32MP front-facing camera for high-quality selfies and video calls. The battery is rumored to boast a capacity of 7,000 mAh, complemented by 100W fast charging, ensuring long-lasting usage.
Price Point and Launch Details
Although iQOO has yet to finalize the pricing, speculations indicate that the iQOO 15 could begin around Rs 59,999 in India. The launch event on November 26 will unveil the complete specifications, variants, and pricing.
With its combination of robust performance, superior display, and gamer-friendly cooling capabilities, the iQOO 15 is set to make waves in the Indian market, appealing to users seeking a definitive flagship experience.
