In a startling turn of events just days before the Miss Universe 2025 finals, Dr. Gabrielle Henry, representing Jamaica, fell during the evening gown segment of the preliminary competition. Dressed in a striking orange gown and high heels, the 28-year-old lost her footing and fell off the stage. Footage of the incident shows her being swiftly aided and carried off on a stretcher.

Following the fall, Gabrielle was promptly transported to Paolo Rangsit Hospital. A statement from the Miss Universe Jamaica Organisation confirmed that, while she is under medical supervision, her injuries are not life-threatening. Ongoing tests will ensure her complete recovery.

This incident has sparked significant concern among fans across the globe. The Miss Universe Jamaica Organisation has expressed its gratitude for the overwhelming support and encouraged the public to remain hopeful and send their prayers for Gabrielle’s healing.

"Miss Universe Jamaica 2025 experienced a fall from the main stage during the evening gown round of the preliminary competition. She was rushed to the Paolo Rangsit Hospital, where medical professionals are attending to her care and have advised that she is not suffering from any life-threatening injuries. We kindly ask everyone to stay upbeat, lift her in prayer, and send positive thoughts as she receives the necessary medical care. We thank everyone for their outpouring of love, support, and continued prayers."
