Akshay Kumar Reveals Son Aarav Choose Fashion Over Films

Akshay Kumar Reveals Son Aarav Choose Fashion Over Films

Post by : Rameen Ariff

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has put an end to speculation about his son Aarav’s future in films. While many star kids have stepped into acting or filmmaking, the 23-year-old has chosen a different path.

In a recent interview, Akshay shared that Aarav has no interest in joining the film industry or even handling his production company. Instead, he has decided to build his career in the world of fashion. “He told me clearly, ‘Dad, I don’t want to come into films.’ I even asked him to take over my production company, but he refused. His focus is on fashion designing, and that’s what he is studying right now,” Akshay said.

The actor also opened up about his parenting style, revealing that his wife, author and former actress Twinkle Khanna, plays the stricter role at home. “Twinkle keeps us all disciplined. I am more like a friend to my son. Aarav is very studious, just like his mother, and he has no bad habits,” he added.

Akshay said that while he would have been happy to see his son in films, he fully supports Aarav’s decision to follow his passion.

Aarav has largely stayed away from the limelight, with Akshay and Twinkle preferring to keep their children’s lives private. However, on Aarav’s 23rd birthday earlier this month, Akshay shared an emotional post on social media, expressing pride in how his son has grown and calling him his “best sidekick.”

On the work front, Akshay Kumar was last seen in Jolly LLB 3, which collected ₹127 crore worldwide. His upcoming projects include Welcome To The Jungle, Priyadarshan’s Bhooth Bangla with Paresh Rawal and Wamiqa Gabbi, Haiwaan with Saif Ali Khan, and the much-anticipated Hera Pheri 3 alongside Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty.
