The Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting, and Golf Club is set to host the fourth segment of the UAE Licensed Weapons Shooting Championship on November 15 and 16, featuring over 325 male and female shooters. This event signifies a significant moment in the championship calendar, promising thrilling contests across various categories.

An official statement from the organizing committee confirmed that the Al Ain stage will encompass numerous rifle shooting events, divided into men's, women's, and juniors' divisions. A crowning ceremony will take place, honoring three standout champions with gold medals in their respective categories.

The breakdown of participants includes 229 in the men's air rifle category, 47 in the women's air rifle section, and 49 junior shooters. The impressive turnout underscores the increasing appeal of shooting sports in the UAE and the championship's success in attracting skilled individuals nationwide.

The committee expressed pride in the high participation rates achieved in prior rounds, which took place in Al Dhafra, Ajman, and Masfout. Previous competitions showcased remarkable skill and passionate performances, fueling anticipation for the upcoming Al Ain round.

Officials shared that the accomplishments of earlier rounds have created substantial excitement for this event, as athletes are eager to demonstrate their abilities under the pressures of competition. This tournament not only identifies fresh talent but also solidifies the UAE’s role as a key promoter of shooting sports regionally.

Appreciation was extended to the Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club for its excellent hosting and facilities that ensure participant safety and comfort. The established venue is renowned for its superb infrastructure, a preferred choice for both national and international shooting contests.

Strict safety protocols have been implemented by the club's team to ensure everything runs smoothly and professionally, aligning with the championship’s overarching goal of maintaining the highest safety, discipline, and fairness standards.

This championship is instrumental in instilling values of discipline, focus, and precision among its participants and underscores the cultural significance of shooting as a traditional sport in the Emirates. It gathers shooters from various backgrounds, offering them a platform to showcase their skills and refine their techniques in a supervised environment.

Part of a broader commitment to nurturing shooting sports as a national priority, the championship aims to inspire and train young shooters for international competitions while fostering responsible weapon handling. The inclusion of juniors emphasizes the UAE's dedication to developing future champions at the global level.

With high expectations for excitement, the Al Ain round is poised to be one of the most competitive yet, as top shooters vie for gold and national acclaim. This competition not only celebrates excellence but also fosters camaraderie and respect within the shooting community.

Many young participants view this championship as a valuable learning opportunity, gaining insights from seasoned shooters who have represented the UAE on international stages. The event will also allow competitors to qualify for higher-level competitions later.

Since its inception, the championship has grown in scale and allure with each passing edition, benefiting from well-structured organization, competent competitors, and robust support from UAE sports authorities, making it a staple in the country’s sporting calendar.

As the Al Ain Equestrian and Shooting Club prepares to welcome hundreds of competitors, fans, and organizers, two days of intense yet friendly competition lie ahead, celebrating skill, focus, and sportsmanship. The event is a testament to the UAE's capability to host large, well-organized sporting events in a safe and professional atmosphere.
