Wintermar Offshore Marine Group reported a strong financial performance for the year ended December 31, 2025, with operating profit rising 31% year-on-year to US$23.3 million. The company’s core net profit also grew by 19.2% to US$18 million, supported by improved margins and a higher-value fleet composition.
Revenue from the owned vessel division increased by 13.8% to US$70.7 million, while gross margins expanded significantly to 41.7%. This growth was driven by a larger number of high-value Dynamic Positioning (DP) vessels, even as overall utilization remained slightly lower due to geopolitical uncertainties and reduced offshore activity during the year.
The company’s chartering segment saw a decline, with profits falling to US$0.5 million, as Wintermar strategically shifted toward a more scalable, fee-based ship management model. Meanwhile, the services division posted modest growth, reflecting increased demand for operational support services.
Looking ahead, Wintermar remains optimistic about the offshore energy sector. Rising global energy demand, increased oil and gas exploration, and geopolitical tensions impacting supply chains are expected to drive higher demand for offshore support vessels. The company plans to expand its fleet further in 2026, backed by strong cash flows and increased capital expenditure, positioning itself to benefit from long-term industry growth.
