From May 21 to 23, the United Arab Emirates actively engaged in the GLOBSEC Forum 2026 in Prague, led by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan's distinguished delegation.
Lana Zaki Nusseibeh participated in numerous critical discussions surrounding global security, technology, defense, and the evolving international landscape. This engagement underscores the UAE's dedication to international collaboration and constructive dialogue.
Additionally, Nusseibeh conducted several bilateral meetings with European and global officials during the forum to foster relationships, identify new collaborative efforts, and review both regional and global trends.
A meeting with Anita Orbán emphasized the strengthening bonds between the UAE and Hungary. Discussions centered on enhancing cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, the energy transition, advanced technology, and defense while also addressing pressing international and regional matters.
Nusseibeh’s discussions with Ferit Hoxha focused on boosting UAE-Albania relations, including topics such as infrastructure, renewable energy, tourism, innovation, and joint efforts in international platforms. They also touched on current Middle Eastern developments and initiatives aimed at promoting regional stability and security.
The UAE's active involvement in the GLOBSEC Forum 2026 highlighted its aim to forge robust international partnerships and support collective action against global challenges.
