His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi oversaw the signing of crucial agreements designed to enhance collaboration between the UAE and India.
These exchanges occurred during Sheikh Mohamed's official visit to India, encompassing key sectors such as defense, space, energy, food security, and investments.
A notable moment was the signing of a letter of intent aimed at establishing a strategic defense partnership, which bolsters security and military cooperation between the two nations.
In the realm of space, the UAE Space Agency and India's National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre signed an agreement to foster cooperation in the development of the space industry and commercial partnerships.
Energy collaboration was also enhanced through a sales and purchase contract between ADNOC Gas and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited of India.
Additionally, both nations ratified a memorandum of understanding on food safety and technical standards, jointly developed by the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and India's Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority.
Investment relations were further strengthened with a letter of intent between the UAE Ministry of Investment and the Government of Gujarat, targeting the development of the Dholera Special Investment Region.
These agreements mark significant milestones in the strategic partnership between the UAE and India across various fields.
