The United Arab Emirates expressed deep condemnation over the devastating school shooting in Turkey that resulted in at least nine fatalities and injured 13 more on Wednesday.
In a formal communication, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) reiterated the UAE's unwavering opposition to all forms of violence, extremism, and criminal behavior that jeopardize societal safety and stability.
The UAE conveyed its sincere condolences to the victims' families, along with the government and citizens of Turkey during this period of mourning. It also wished for the prompt and complete recovery of the injured individuals.
Officials noted that this incident marks Turkey's second school shooting in only two days, raising alarming concerns regarding public safety.
The UAE reaffirmed its dedication to supporting global efforts to combat violence and foster peace, stability, and the safeguarding of innocent lives around the world.
