UAE riders marked an impressive achievement at the recently concluded FEI Regional Group VII Final for various age categories in Doha, Qatar. They collected individual gold medals in both the children’s and juniors’ events, in addition to a bronze in the young riders’ competition. This underscores the UAE's steadily expanding accolades in equestrian disciplines.
Besides individual medals, the UAE team clinched gold in the young riders’ and juniors’ team events. Their exceptional skills and performances caught the eye of the judges, highlighting their competitive edge against formidable teams from abroad. In the juniors' category, Abdullah Al Karbi earned the top spot, while Saif Al Karbi finished in sixth. Meanwhile, Khalid Al Mehairi showcased exceptional craftsmanship by securing first in the children’s division. Mohammed Al Ghurair achieved a bronze in the young riders’ class. Other commendable performances included Mabkhout Al Karbi and Alia Al Mehairi, who placed fourth and fifth respectively, illustrating the consistent talent within the squad.
Dr. Ghanem Mohammed Al Hajri, Secretary-General of the UAE Equestrian and Racing Federation, commended the riders amid the Eid Al Etihad festivities. He emphasized that such accomplishments further bolster the UAE's prestige in the global equestrian arena.
