The eagerly awaited grand finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Seniors Season 5 unfolded on 23 November, ultimately crowning Susanthica as the champion. Her exceptional performances resonated deeply with both the judges and audiences alike, making it a memorable conclusion to the competition.
Throughout the season, Susanthica delivered emotional and captivating renditions, particularly highlighted during the finale, which featured six talented finalists: Sreehari Raveendran, Susanthica, Sapesan, Chinnu Senthamilan, Pavithra, and Shivani. The intensity of the final competition was palpable.
Sapesan earned recognition as the first runner-up, while energetic performer Chinnu Senthamilan secured the second runner-up spot. Meanwhile, Pavithra was celebrated as the People’s Favourite, for her wide appeal to fans.
Reportedly, the victor receives a cash prize of around ₹15 lakh and a new home, courtesy of a prominent developer. Winning this title also unlocks numerous opportunities including music albums, concert tours, and various appearances.
The season kicked off on 24 May 2025 and thrilled audiences over several months with unforgettable moments. The finale was broadcast live, with the winner revealed around 11 PM after an engaging session starting at 5 PM.
Unique for its focus on singers above 35, this season highlighted the rich talent in mature performers. The panel of judges included Shweta Mohan and SP Charan, alongside familiar figures like Srinivas, Vijay Prakash, Saindhavi, and Karthik. Each finalist contributed a unique flair, making the finale a true celebration of diverse musical abilities.
