His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan participated in live demonstrations of sophisticated unmanned technologies at Tilal Swaihan during the seventh iteration of the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) and the Simulation and Training Exhibition (SimTEX).
The event commenced with the UAE national anthem, followed by a display from the military band. The Al Fursan aerobatic team showcased their talent with a flawless aerial routine, underscoring the level of coordination and skill in the UAE.
Sheikh Zayed also witnessed the Tilal Swaihan Mile Race Championship, where participants engaged in tactical exercises utilizing unmanned aerial systems in realistic scenarios. These exercises aimed to bolster air defense capability and ensure seamless integration of advanced technology with expertly trained personnel across defense, security, and civilian applications.
During the visit, Sheikh Zayed explored various pavilions from local and global companies participating in the live aerial showcases. The displays featured the latest advancements in unmanned aerial systems and AI-driven tactical solutions aimed at enhancing the efficacy of autonomous operations across various domains.
He also examined sophisticated simulation systems developed for unmanned aerial vehicle operations at the concurrent exhibition. These systems cater to diverse applications, including defense missions and humanitarian efforts like aerial medical evacuations and firefighting.
The exhibition includes a commercial section showcasing unmanned solutions targeting smart mobility, urban development, energy infrastructure, and future logistics challenges. Panel discussions featuring experts and industry leaders aim to share insights on the evolution of autonomous aviation and advanced systems.
Additionally, organizations presented virtual and digital training solutions devoted to enhancing skills and operational readiness. These initiatives are integral to UMEX's commitment to advancing technological innovation and SimTEX’s mission to improve human capacity to address the demands of sophisticated modern systems.
