His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has enacted an Emiri Decree approving the foundational organisational structure for the Sharjah Archaeology Authority (SAA).
The approved framework is designed to facilitate the Authority's operations officially. The Sharjah Executive Council is responsible for drafting detailed regulations that will elaborate on the complete organisational hierarchy.
These regulations will detail job roles, responsibilities, and functions across various offices within the Authority. Additionally, the Council will manage the approval of job descriptions to ensure alignment with the objectives and capabilities of the Authority.
Moreover, the decree empowers the Authority to create, merge, or eliminate organisational units as necessary. This strategic move aims to enhance efficiency, streamline activities, and back the Authority's overarching mission.
This initiative signifies Sharjah’s ongoing commitment to fortifying institutional frameworks and improving the governance of its archaeological and cultural heritage sector.
