During the ongoing Hajj season, the Air Medical Evacuation Department from Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Defense has deployed four state-of-the-art medical aircraft dedicated to assisting pilgrims.
These aircraft have been meticulously outfitted to deliver superior emergency medical services and expedite patient transfers throughout the Hajj period. They are working closely with field hospitals, medical centers, and ambulance crews positioned at key locations to guarantee rapid response and immediate care when necessary.
Additionally, the air medical evacuation unit continues to facilitate patient transfers both within and outside the Kingdom as part of the Ministry of Defense’s comprehensive healthcare strategy.
Officials indicate that this initiative is designed to bolster advanced medical transportation and enhance emergency healthcare provisions for all pilgrims during Hajj.
