Ranveer Singh Applauds Sara Arjun as Bollywood's Emerging Talent

Post by : Meena Ariff

The Mumbai launch of Aditya Dhar’s film Dhurandhar saw Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh praising his young co-star, Sara Arjun, who is embarking on her Hindi cinema journey. Previously recognized for her performances as a child actor in Tamil cinema, Sara has gained accolades from films like Deiva Thirumagal and Saivam.

During the event, Ranveer remarked on Sara's immense talent, calling her a “child prodigy” and comparing her to the renowned Dakota Fanning. He emphasized, “You just know that some people are prodigies from a young age. Like Dakota Fanning in Hollywood. Sara, your journey to secure this role amid thousands is truly commendable. It feels like you have a wealth of experience. You are one of the most impressive actors I have worked with.”

Ranveer also recognized Sara's earlier work in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan, saying, “You elevate my presence. I genuinely appreciate that. I can hardly believe this is your debut. Your past work in Mani Ratnam's films showcases what the world is about to witness from you.”

Sara Arjun gained initial fame in 2011 with her role as Vikram’s daughter in the Tamil film Deiva Thirumagal. Further recognition followed for her performance in Saivam, produced by Vijay. Additionally, she portrayed a young Nandini, the character embodied by Aishwarya Rai, in Mani Ratnam’s epic films.

Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, includes contributions from producers Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar, under the banners of Jio Studios and B62 Studios. The film features a stellar cast, including Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun. The music is composed by Shashwat Sachdev, and the film is set for a theatrical release on December 5.

With its talented ensemble and dynamic storytelling, Dhurandhar is creating substantial anticipation among both viewers and critics. Fans eagerly await Sara Arjun's Bollywood debut alongside some of the industry's top talents.
