Samsung has officially introduced its latest mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G, in India. Positioned between the flagship Galaxy S series and other A-series models, these devices target users seeking strong performance, reliable cameras, long battery life, and premium display experience without opting for Chinese brands or other alternatives. Both smartphones feature 6.7‑inch FHD+ Super AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster technology, ensuring sharp and vibrant visuals for gaming and multimedia.
Under the hood, the Galaxy A57 is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1680 chipset, while the Galaxy A37 includes the Exynos 1480 chipset, replacing the predecessor’s Snapdragon platform. Samsung has upgraded the Image Signal Processor (ISP) to enhance photo quality across various lighting conditions. Both devices include a 50MP wide camera, a 5MP macro sensor, and ultra-wide cameras (12MP on A57 and 8MP on A37), along with 12MP front cameras for selfies and video calls. AI features like subject recognition, scene optimisation, Best Face, and Edit Suggestions further improve photography performance.
Both smartphones run One UI 8.5 based on Android 16, offering six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. They include 5,000mAh batteries with Super Fast Charging 2.0 and a larger vapour chamber for sustained performance during gaming or recording. In India, prices start at ₹41,999 for the Galaxy A37 and ₹56,999 for the Galaxy A57, with sales beginning April 10, 2026. Launch offers include ₹3,000 bank/UPI cashback, a 24-month zero-interest EMI plan, and a ₹3,000 upgrade bonus.
