In the Intercontinental Cup Final, European titleholders Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will challenge Copa Libertadores champions CR Flamengo at the 40,000-seater Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium. This marks PSG's debut in the tournament following their UEFA Champions League victory over Inter Milan, which they won 5-0 to secure their inaugural European title, celebrated for its thrilling football and stellar performance.

PSG arrives in Qatar featuring a star-studded roster that includes Ballon d’Or recipient Ousmane Dembélé and Moroccan sensation Achraf Hakimi. Fans from Qatar and across the globe are anticipated to witness this French powerhouse compete for the prestigious title in 2025.

Meanwhile, CR Flamengo has enjoyed a fruitful week, triumphing in the FIFA Derby of the Americas Qatar 2025™ against Mexico's Cruz Azul and the FIFA Challenger Cup Qatar 2025™ against Egypt's Pyramids FC. The team is now focused on achieving the ultimate title of continental champion.

The Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, which will host today’s grand final, has previously accommodated both the FIFA Derby of the Americas and FIFA Challenger Cup matches. The venue is prepared to welcome thousands of fans eager to witness these historic finals.
