Post by : Meena Ariff

Priyanka Chopra, one of India’s most celebrated actors, is all set to make a special appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 4. This marks a high-profile television return for the actor ahead of her highly anticipated film Varanasi, scheduled to release in 2027. Priyanka recently arrived in Mumbai for the shoot, sharing her excitement with fans through social media.

On Wednesday, Priyanka posted an in-flight selfie on Instagram, tagging comedian Kapil Sharma with a playful warning: “You better be ready.” The post created a buzz among fans, confirming her presence on the show. Later, she shared a video from a taxi ride, soaking in the Mumbai breeze and city vibes, captioned, “Mumbai meri jaan.” Her posts reflected her joy at being back in the city and her eagerness to interact with audiences through the show.

Season 3 of The Great Indian Kapil Show concluded in September, with Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar appearing in the finale episode. Shortly after, Kapil Sharma announced the launch of Season 4 and shared glimpses from the first day of shooting, building anticipation among fans. The upcoming season promises a host of celebrity appearances, and Priyanka Chopra’s participation is expected to be one of the season’s highlights.

Fans are especially excited because Priyanka’s appearance comes ahead of her long-awaited return to Indian cinema. After an eight-year hiatus from Bollywood, she will be seen in SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi. The film, which also stars Mahesh Babu in the lead and Prithviraj Sukumaran as the primary antagonist, is being described as a high-octane action-adventure. The storyline is being kept under wraps, but reports suggest that it will feature thrilling action sequences, a time-travel element, and a memorable sequence where Mahesh Babu will portray Lord Ram. Priyanka’s character, Mandakini, was recently revealed in a character poster, giving fans their first glimpse of her action-packed avatar.

In addition to Varanasi, Priyanka Chopra continues to make waves internationally with projects like the Russo Brothers’ spy action drama, Citadel, which has a new season in the works. With her growing international presence and upcoming television appearance, Priyanka is set to reconnect with Indian audiences while maintaining her global career trajectory.

Her appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show is expected to be a perfect blend of entertainment and charm, allowing fans to see a more personal and relaxed side of the superstar before her cinematic comeback. Priyanka’s Mumbai visit has already generated excitement on social media, and viewers are eagerly waiting for the episodes to air, promising a memorable start to Season 4.
