Actor Priyanka Chopra has flown back to India to take part in director SS Rajamouli’s much-anticipated film Globetrotter, which features Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. She posted moments from her trip to Hyderabad on Instagram Stories, expressing enthusiasm about joining the next production schedule.
In a selfie captured aboard her flight before takeoff, Priyanka wrote, "And we're off again, destination exciting," and referenced singer Celine Dion when captioning an outfit shot, "Queen always and forever @celinedion." After she landed, the actor shared a short clip of Hyderabad streets from her car and tagged Mahesh Babu with a laughing emoji.
On arrival at Hyderabad airport, Priyanka was seen in casual attire, chatting with a few people while accompanied by her team. She has been travelling to India repeatedly for Globetrotter's shoots, though the filmmakers have not disclosed major plot points.
Recently, Mahesh Babu teased director Rajamouli on X, urging him to honour a promise to reveal film details in November. Priyanka joined the light-hearted exchange, joking that she might spill on-set stories — a tease Rajamouli playfully blamed on Mahesh for prompting.
Known for now as SSMB29 or Globetrotter, the project is the first time Rajamouli, Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra are collaborating. Outside this film, Priyanka is slated for Citadel Season 2 and will portray a 19th-century Caribbean pirate in The Bluff alongside Karl Urban.
