OnePlus is set to launch its highly anticipated OnePlus 15 in India soon. The company has gone live with an India microsite, confirming key specifications and giving fans an exclusive first look. The OnePlus 15 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, marking the first OnePlus device to use this powerful processor. Running on Android 16-based OxygenOS 16, the phone promises advanced AI capabilities and a smooth, high-performance experience.
The OnePlus 15 comes in a Sand Dune colorway and sports a distinctive rear camera island with rounded corners. The device is equipped with a triple 50MP rear camera setup, including main, ultrawide, and telephoto lenses with 3x optical zoom, alongside a 32MP front camera. Rumors suggest the possibility of a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, making it ideal for photography enthusiasts.
For gamers and performance-focused users, the OnePlus 15 offers cutting-edge features such as the G2 gaming network chip for better Wi-Fi and cellular performance in weak signal areas. It also introduces Android’s first “Touch Display Sync” for smoother touch response, a “Glacier” cooling system with aerogel insulation, and an “Inter-game Recharge” feature for faster charging during gameplay.
The microsite hints at more updates on October 29, potentially revealing the official India launch date and additional features. With the OnePlus 15, the company continues to blend style, performance, and innovation, making it one of the most awaited smartphone releases in India this year.
