Obhur Corniche in Jeddah has transformed into an active hub as the F1H2O UIM World Championship gears up for its debut Jeddah Grand Prix 2025. With 20 high-speed powerboats from approximately 10 international teams, this event promises to be one of the most exhilarating marine sports competitions in the region.

Teams are diligently getting ready for the championship. Maintenance squads are busy lifting and transporting the boats for thorough mechanical evaluations, while technical experts are inspecting engines, fuel systems, and navigational equipment to ensure optimal performance. The setup at Obhur Corniche features specialized jetties, maintenance zones, and spectator platforms, providing tourists and fans with unobstructed views of the thrilling action on the sea circuit.

The championship kicks off today with free practice sessions, allowing teams to test their boats and adjust settings according to the prevailing sea conditions. Following practice, qualifying rounds will determine starting positions for the races. Excitement is building up over the following days as multiple speed races culminate in the main event on Saturday. The Grand Finale of the Jeddah Grand Prix 2025 will conclude the championship, followed by a ceremony to honor the winners.

This championship is an essential feature of Jeddah Season 2025, showcasing the city as a burgeoning hub for international sports and entertainment events. Hosting a prestigious marine race like the F1H2O UIM World Championship enhances not only the Kingdom’s tourism industry but also contributes to economic development while placing Jeddah on the global sporting map. The Jeddah Grand Prix 2025 prioritizes collaboration and innovation. Organizers are committed to making the event enjoyable and accessible for families, sports fans, and tourists alike. In addition to racing, various entertainment zones, food and beverage options, and interactive exhibits will provide visitors with opportunities to learn more about the sport and the technologies that power marine racing.
