His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, chaired a meeting of the Ministerial Development Council at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi to review the implementation of key government policies and programmes across the United Arab Emirates.
The Council examined a number of proposed projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency across several federal sectors. It also reviewed strategies presented by government entities to strengthen national healthcare services and improve nutrition standards.
Discussions further covered progress in economic integration initiatives and plans to support the development of cultural and creative industries. The Council also explored measures to increase the participation of Emirati professionals in regional and international organisations.
On the legislative front, members reviewed proposed federal laws regulating services related to the Ministry of Education and the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security. Regulatory updates concerning family-owned businesses and the national tax framework were also discussed.
The meeting reaffirmed the UAE leadership’s focus on strengthening governance, supporting sustainable economic growth, and ensuring coordinated efforts among federal institutions to meet future national priorities.
