Kiku Sharda Highlights Kapil Sharma's Newfound Punctuality

Kiku Sharda Highlights Kapil Sharma's Newfound Punctuality

Post by : Meena Ariff

Kiku Sharda, a key figure in Kapil Sharma's comedic realm, recently highlighted a significant improvement in Kapil’s punctuality. Renowned for his role as Bumper Lottery, Kiku remarked that Kapil now consistently arrives on set on time—an impressive turnaround from his previous habits.

During a recent podcast, Kiku emphasized that the entire team now adheres to a strict schedule, including Kapil Sharma himself. Once notorious for his tardiness, it's no longer a trait attributed to him. Kiku even noted that arriving just fifteen minutes late now makes Kapil uneasy, given the show's demanding environment.

This conversation also stirred up memories of a humorous incident where Amitabh Bachchan playfully chided Kapil for his late arrivals, joking that he’d show up at around 4:30 PM even if called at noon. Kapil took the teasing lightheartedly, yet Kiku’s remarks clearly indicate the progress that has been made since those days.

Additionally, Kiku Sharda tackled the swirling rumors regarding his potential departure from The Great Indian Kapil Show. Speculation grew after he took part in the reality series Rise & Fall, and he explained that while filming, he was cut off from outside news, unaware that chatter about his exit had arisen.

After he was eliminated from the show, he found that the rumors had proliferated. Kiku reassured fans that these claims were unfounded, asserting his 13-year association with Kapil Sharma and the strong bond they share. He has consistently turned down numerous opportunities to stay with the team because of his deep appreciation for the show and his colleagues.

Kiku confirmed he plans to remain with the show for as long as it continues, noting that its success has always been a joint effort among all comedians and performers, to which he remains dedicated.
