This expansion has raised LACMA’s voting trustees to 58, with eight individuals recognized as lifetime trustees. Additionally, this gathering took place as LACMA skirts closer to an important milestone in its redevelopment project. The David Geffen Galleries, which are currently under construction, are in their final phase, promising to enhance the visitor experience when they open in April 2026.
