Iran Strikes Gulf Again Explosions Rock Dubai Doha and Manama as Airports Targeted

Iran Strikes Gulf Again Explosions Rock Dubai Doha and Manama as Airports Targeted

Post by : Shakul

Iran has intensified its military campaign across the Gulf with fresh strikes that triggered explosions in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Doha (Qatar) and Manama (Bahrain), as part of an expanding retaliation after the recent conflict involving Iran, the United States and Israel. Reports confirmed multiple blasts in these key Gulf cities, all of which host important US military bases or allied facilities, sharply escalating regional tensions and sparking international worry.

In Dubai, panic spread at Dubai International Airport, one of the world’s busiest aviation hubs, after videos showed passengers evacuating concourses filled with smoke. Airport officials later said a terminal sustained minor damage and emergency services responded quickly. Flights at major airports in the region, including those in Abu Dhabi and Kuwait, were suspended as part of ongoing safety measures after the strikes.

Explosions were also reported over Doha’s airspace, where missiles were intercepted, and in Manama, where drone strikes caused fires and material damage at Bahrain International Airport. The wide corridor of airspace across the Middle East was shut down over the weekend, halting commercial flights and disrupting global air travel.

The broader offensive has seen Iranian missiles and drones added to an already volatile mix of military activity in the region, threatening not just military infrastructure but civilian hubs like airports and seaports. As emergency measures continue and authorities monitor the situation, global carriers and travelers remain affected by the unprecedented shutdown of Gulf airspace.
