SEHA Clinics, affiliated with PureHealth, has inaugurated its flagship community clinic on Saadiyat Island, aiming to enhance the accessibility of high-quality, patient-centered healthcare in Abu Dhabi.
The opening ceremony was graced by prominent figures, including Dr Noura Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, and Dr Rashed Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre, alongside senior executives from PureHealth and SEHA Clinics.
Officials noted that the clinic signifies Abu Dhabi's commitment to bolstering primary healthcare. Dr Fayeza Al Yafei, Executive Director at the Department of Health, emphasized the facility's role in facilitating integrated and personalized care, aiding families through every life phase.
Dr Khadija Al Marashda mentioned that the clinic is set to fortify community-focused healthcare by providing timely diagnoses, preventive care, and long-standing health support, allowing major hospitals to concentrate on complex, specialized treatments.
This new facility is part of SEHA Clinics' broader strategy to expand healthcare services throughout Abu Dhabi, striving to bring medical care closer to residential neighborhoods and elevate access to both preventive and specialized healthcare.
Located in Saadiyat Island, the clinic operates seven days a week from 10 am to 6 pm and offers a comprehensive array of services, including family medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, women's health, diagnostics, and physiotherapy—all under one roof.
Designed to ensure a comfortable patient experience, the facility features digital registration, personalized assistance, and a welcoming ambiance with contemporary interiors.
Currently, SEHA Clinics encompass over 800 doctors across 35 clinics in both Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Apart from treatment, the new clinic is dedicated to promoting wellness through a variety of health programs, screenings, and community outreach initiatives.
