UAE's Humaid Air Bridge Delivers 600 Tons of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

UAE's Humaid Air Bridge Delivers 600 Tons of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

Post by : Badri Ariffin

The “Humaid Air Bridge” initiative, established under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, has successfully delivered over 600 tons of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

This relief mission spanned more than two months, focusing on transporting essential food and humanitarian supplies to the Egyptian city of Al Arish. From there, the aid was organized for further distribution into Gaza in collaboration with the relevant authorities.

As part of this effort, approximately 30,000 food parcels were dispatched, specifically designed to fulfill the essential needs of Palestinian families. It is anticipated that this sizable humanitarian support will benefit more than 150,000 individuals.

The campaign saw the engaged participation of various UAE humanitarian organizations, such as the Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charitable Foundation, the International Charity Organisation, the Emirates Red Crescent in Ajman, Al Ihsan Charity Association, and Al Etihad Charity Foundation.

This initiative is integral to the UAE’s extensive humanitarian efforts under “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3”, which was launched following the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The operation encompasses air and sea relief missions, “Birds of Goodness” aid drops, support for field and floating hospitals, along with various humanitarian programs aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by the Palestinian population.
