Post by : Badri Ariffin

Gallega Global Logistics has officially launched a 215,000 sq. ft. multi-user third-party logistics (3PL) hub located in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, aimed at enhancing logistics and supply chain capabilities throughout the UAE and GCC.

This state-of-the-art facility is tailored to bolster regional distribution, ensuring quicker and more dependable delivery services for businesses engaging in both local and international arenas.

Equipped with expansive multi-user warehousing options, advanced management systems, versatile storage alternatives, and tech-driven logistics solutions, this hub is set to generate over 200 job opportunities while providing better access to local and global markets via Jafza’s multimodal trade network.

The inaugural event saw the attendance of key figures such as Ghassan Aboud and Abdulla Al Hashmi, alongside prominent executives and leaders from the automotive, logistics, and banking sectors.

Ghassan Aboud, Chairman of Ghassan Aboud Holding, expressed that the launch of this logistics hub is a significant milestone in the company's collaboration with DP World. He emphasized that the facility underscores the group's enduring commitment to enhancing regional supply chains through cutting-edge infrastructure and technology.

Abdulla Al Hashmi, Global COO of Parks & Economic Zones at DP World, highlighted that this investment is timely, given the geopolitical challenges disrupting global supply chains. He remarked that businesses demand increased flexibility, swift response rates, and reliable access to markets for seamless trading.

This facility emerges from a strategic alliance between Ghassan Aboud Holding and DP World GCC, aiming to deliver flexible and technology-related logistics solutions tailored to support the rising demand for integrated supply chain services regionally.

Sara Rachid indicated that this new center marks a crucial advancement in broadening Gallega's logistics presence in the UAE and beyond. She mentioned that the free zone-based multi-user setup would enable the company to offer quicker, more efficient, and adaptable logistics services suited for various markets.

This logistics hub is anticipated to enhance delivery speeds, improve service quality, and bolster supply chain resilience for both regional and international business operations.
