Dubai Enhances Media Innovation with Galaxy ME's Cho Sunghae

Dubai: His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed, the Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, convened a significant meeting with Cho Sunghae, CEO of Galaxy ME and Co-Founder of Galaxy Corporation, to explore potential collaborations in the realms of digital media and advanced technologies.

The talks centered on enhancing partnerships in pivotal sectors such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and engaging digital content. Both parties evaluated avenues for strategic alliances aimed at fostering innovation in Dubai’s media landscape.

His Highness reiterated Dubai’s unwavering commitment to collaborating with prominent global technology and media firms. He emphasized that the emirate is rapidly establishing itself as a central hub for content creation by harnessing state-of-the-art technologies, particularly in AI, within its media framework.

Furthermore, he pointed out that partnerships with international industry leaders are crucial for stimulating innovation, boosting competitiveness, and unlocking growth prospects for the media and entertainment sector in the emirate.

During the discussion, the UAE delegation was briefed on Galaxy Corporation's business strategies as a rapidly emerging player in South Korea's entertainment and technology sectors. The conversation also covered potential collaboration in AI-centric content production, digital talent cultivation, and initiatives for knowledge sharing.

These projects are set to aid Dubai’s overarching vision of establishing a robust innovation ecosystem, reinforcing its status as a favored location for global media and technology firms.

The meeting was attended by high-ranking officials from Dubai’s media, tourism, and economic development sectors, highlighting the emirate's holistic approach to advancing its global creative economy agenda.
