Dubai Municipality has introduced an innovative initiative titled “Work from Park”, focusing on converting public parks into dynamic spaces for work, relaxation, and connection with nature.
The aim is to establish flexible work environments within parks, enhancing their usability and appeal while catering to contemporary lifestyles. This new approach blends productivity with wellness, offering individuals the opportunity to work in serene outdoor settings.
To bring this vision to life, Dubai Municipality has partnered with Group AMANA and Letswork LLC. These collaborations will facilitate the development and management of advanced workspaces within public parks across Dubai.
This initiative aligns with Dubai’s long-term goals, such as the Dubai 2040 Parks and Greenery Strategy, Dubai Urban Plan 2040, and the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, aiming to enhance the quality of life, stimulate economic growth, and promote modern work trends, including remote work.
The first workspace is set to launch in May 2026 at Al Barsha Pond Park. This location will feature eco-friendly modular workspaces that harmonize with the natural environment, with plans for additional sites across the city.
These workspaces will offer amenities such as hot desks, meeting areas, podcast studios, and creative zones, tailored for entrepreneurs, freelancers, startups, and content creators.
Group AMANA will utilize advanced modular construction technology for these facilities, which is known for its efficiency and eco-friendliness. Meanwhile, Letswork will oversee the management and operation of these spaces through its user-friendly digital platform.
The initiative also aims to nurture creative talent by providing training programs, workshops, and collaborative opportunities, ensuring skill and business development for users.
Dubai Municipality emphasized that this project embodies its aspiration to create smart, adaptive, and sustainable public spaces that enrich daily life while fostering innovation and economic growth.
In summary, the “Work from Park” initiative represents a pioneering move to transform parks into thriving work hubs that seamlessly integrate nature, work, and community engagement.
