Dubai Chambers has made notable strides in enhancing its economic relationship with Oman through strategic dialogues and meetings in Sohar.
A delegation spearheaded by H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, visited Oman’s North Al Batinah Governorate to identify opportunities for boosting bilateral trade and collaboration.
During their visit, the delegation held discussions with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry – North Al Batinah Branch. The conversations concentrated on nurturing collaboration between business sectors in Dubai and Sohar, particularly within prioritized industries. Emphasis was placed on seizing high-value opportunities and nurturing sustainable trade development.
The delegation also explored SOHAR Port and Freezone as well as Sohar Industrial City (Madayn), engaging in thorough discussions about enhancing goods movement, fortifying supply chain resilience, and advancing logistical integration between both regions.
H.E. Lootah emphasized during the visit Dubai Chambers’ dedication to cultivating robust partnerships with vital international markets. He stated that advancing trade flows and logistical connectivity could reveal new prospects for economic collaboration while reinforcing stable trade relations.
This visit aligns with Dubai Chambers’ broader efforts to amplify global trade partnerships, foster impactful business engagement avenues, and strengthen connections between Dubai's private sector and global markets. The initiative also seeks to bolster economic resilience and prepare for shifting global challenges.
