Post by : Sameer Farouq

The much-anticipated action-packed thriller, Dhurandhar, featuring Ranveer Singh, has taken the industry by storm, surpassing the ₹100 crore milestone within just three days of its debut. Released on December 5, the film has enchanted viewers across the nation with its gripping action sequences, stellar plotline, and Singh's electrifying performance.

The film made a remarkable start, grossing ₹28 crore on its opening day, followed by an impressive ₹32 crore on Saturday. Sunday saw a tremendous leap as Dhurandhar collected ₹43 crore, marking one of the highest single-day earnings recently and affirming its blockbuster status. This swift rise in numbers exceeded early forecasts and securely positioned the movie as a frontrunner at the box office.

The storyline follows Ranveer Singh’s character as he confronts a notorious group of terrorists. While the narrative draws from true heroic acts, it remains a work of fiction. The blend of electrifying action, themes of patriotism, and a suspenseful plot, accompanied by a robust marketing effort, sparked significant social media engagement and word-of-mouth referrals, aiding in its success.

Industry experts observe that the film's appeal escalated during the weekend, with audiences from urban areas and rural regions flocking to cinemas. Dhurandhar not only showcases Ranveer Singh's strong box office draw but also reinforces his stature as one of Bollywood's foremost action icons capable of delivering hits.

With its engaging storyline, adrenaline-fueled action, and groundbreaking collections, Dhurandhar remains at the forefront of the Indian cinematic landscape, setting new records for the industry.
