Dhurandhar to Feature Ranveer Singh’s Lengthiest Performance Yet

Dhurandhar to Feature Ranveer Singh’s Lengthiest Performance Yet

Post by : Meena Ariff

Ranveer Singh’s forthcoming film Dhurandhar, helmed by director Aditya Dhar, is set to establish a record as the actor’s most extended film yet. Sources indicate that the film will run for about three hours and five minutes, with the final duration to be confirmed soon following discussions between the director and production teams at Jio Studios and B62 Studios.

The narrative promises to be expansive, focusing on the journey of Singh’s character and delving into the challenges, strategies, and emotional stakes he faces. The impressive cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal, all of whom are expected to bring depth to the story with notable performances. Director Aditya Dhar has stressed the importance of each scene in keeping the audience engaged, ensuring that the lengthy runtime enhances rather than detracts from the film's excitement.

Set against the backdrop of real-life cross-border intelligence operations, Dhurandhar intertwines elements of drama, suspense, and action. The film aims to realistically depict the high-stakes missions and the pressures endured by those in covert operations. Singh’s portrayal is expected to be a standout, encapsulating the intensity of the plot along with the emotional intricacies of his character throughout the expansive runtime.

The trailer, initially set to debut on November 15, was delayed following the tragic Delhi Red Fort incident on November 10, done out of respect. Fans are eagerly anticipating glimpses of the film, which promises thrilling action alongside layered storytelling and visual splendor.

Now scheduled for a theatrical launch on December 5, 2025, Dhurandhar is expected to be a significant cinematic milestone in Singh’s career. With its ambitious length, star-studded cast, and real-life inspirations, the film is poised to create considerable excitement among both audiences and critics, marking it as one of the year's most awaited releases.
