Ranveer Singh’s high-octane action thriller Dhurandhar continues to shatter box office records, crossing the Rs 150 crore mark within just five days of its release. The film minted Rs 26.50 crore on Tuesday, pushing its total earnings to Rs 152.75 crore, firmly establishing its blockbuster status.
The film opened to a spectacular response, showcasing Ranveer Singh’s star power and the film’s wide audience appeal. On its opening day, Friday, Dhurandhar collected Rs 28 crore, exceeding early expectations. The momentum strengthened on Saturday, with the film raking in Rs 32 crore. Sunday witnessed a record-breaking performance, with Rs 43 crore added to the tally, culminating in an impressive Rs 103 crore total over the first three days.
What makes Dhurandhar’s run exceptional is its continued strength during the weekdays. Monday contributed Rs 23.25 crore, and Tuesday saw an unexpected rise, adding Rs 26.50 crore to the total, signaling a strong word-of-mouth impact. Analysts have highlighted that in several centres, Monday’s collections exceeded Friday’s—a rare phenomenon that only occurs when a film resonates deeply with audiences.
Industry experts and trade analysts have praised the film’s performance across both urban multiplexes and smaller towns, noting its pan-India appeal. The combination of engaging storytelling, high-voltage action, and Ranveer Singh’s dynamic performance has been cited as key factors behind the film’s success.
Taran Adarsh, a leading trade analyst, remarked that Dhurandhar’s extraordinary performance indicates it is on track for a long theatrical run. The film has captivated audiences across regions, with repeat viewership and strong audience recommendations driving continued box office growth.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. Praised for its tight screenplay, thrilling action sequences, and engaging character arcs, the film has become one of the fastest earners of the year.
Fans eagerly await the sequel, with the second part scheduled for release on March 19, 2026. The next installment promises to escalate the action, deepen the narrative, and further cement Dhurandhar’s place as a landmark franchise in Indian cinema.
