Post by : Meena Ariff

Starring Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and R Madhavan, De De Pyaar De 2 is making significant strides at the global box office. In only its first 72 hours, the film has seen impressive growth not just in India but also in international arenas. It has amassed a gross of 13.26 crore from overseas markets within this timeframe, exceeding the total overseas earnings of Son Of Sardaar 2, which stood at 9.75 crore. This achievement positions the film as Ajay Devgn's second highest overseas grosser for 2025 thus far.

The film is now vying to reach the overseas earnings of Sky Force and Baaghi 4, both of which are nearing 15 crore gross. Following that, it aims to exceed Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, which boasts an international gross of 16.50 crore.

Domestically, De De Pyaar De 2 has earned 45.34 crore gross within the initial three days. When combining both domestic and overseas figures, the film's worldwide tally has hit 58.60 crore gross. Achieving the 50-crore mark in just 72 hours sets a new benchmark for romantic comedies this year. The film's performance on Monday will be pivotal in shaping its future success.

The next significant milestone for the film is to match the global lifetime earnings of Son Of Sardaar 2, which reached 65.38 crore. With only 6.78 crore left to claim, De De Pyaar De 2 is poised to become Ajay Devgn's second highest worldwide grosser for 2025. His current top performer this year remains Raid 2, with a worldwide total of 242.42 crore gross.

The breakdown stands at: India net at 38.43 crore, India gross at 45.34 crore, overseas gross at 13.26 crore, and worldwide gross at 58.60 crore.
