China is preparing to host one of the region’s biggest tourism and entertainment industry events as the China Attractions Expo returns to Beijing from March 19 to 21, 2026.
The event will take place at the Capital International Exhibition Centre in the city’s Shunyi District and is expected to attract suppliers, operators and investors from the global attractions and cultural tourism industries.
Organised with support from the China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, the expo will feature a large exhibition floor along with conferences, networking sessions and forums focusing on innovation in tourism, entertainment and leisure industries.
One of the major highlights of the 2026 edition will be a dedicated robotics exhibition zone showcasing humanoid robots and robotic animals such as pandas, dinosaurs and lions designed for entertainment and theme park environments. Live demonstrations including robot dance shows, martial arts routines and interactive experiences will allow visitors to see how robotics is being integrated into modern attractions.
The event will also include multiple forums discussing emerging trends in cultural tourism, including artificial intelligence, immersive entertainment technologies and cross-industry collaboration. Industry experts and global speakers are expected to share insights on how new technologies can reshape visitor experiences and help tourism businesses expand internationally.
Keynote speakers include tourism and technology experts who will discuss topics such as sustainable tourism development, digital transformation in attractions and new business models for leisure destinations.
In addition to discussions, the expo will feature product launches and demonstrations of new ride systems, mixed-reality experiences, smart tourism hardware and advanced amusement technologies. Major companies in the theme park and attractions sector will present their latest innovations and projects during the event.
Industry observers say the expo highlights China’s growing influence in the global tourism and attractions industry as companies continue to invest in immersive technology, robotics and experience-driven entertainment destinations.
